Pugmill is beautifully presented throughout, with high quality finishes, furnishings and excellent attention to detail..
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms can comfortably accommodate four adults. The first floor ensuite bedroom has zip and link 6ft king size or full twin beds and a newly fitted shower room. The ground floor bedroom has a king size bed with a separate bathroom, also recently refitted, having bath with shower over.

Children are welcome at any age. A junior bed or travel cot, high chair, safety gate and fire guard are available. The farmhouse-style kitchen is exceptionally spacious and equipped with a dishwasher and everything else you may need. Appliances are energy efficient and integrated into the hand-built units.

A window seat and huge dining table overlook the garden, there is also a TV area. An interesting reclaimed spiral staircase leads to the sitting room, there are traditional stairs as well. The sitting room takes best advantage of the wonderful views. Furniture includes quality reclaimed antique and Laura Ashley with a digital music system and a second LCD TV and DVD if required.

Prices are inclusive of electricity, heating fuel, bedlinen, towels and a supply of logs. In addition, we can deliver locally sourced, organic and fairtrade essentials to start your holiday or you can order a greater selection online to be delivered to your door from Food local Food.

Green credentials

Pugmill has achieved Green Tourism Business Scheme Silver level. The cottage has a shared spring fed water system and reed bed, we also collect rainwater for the garden. Electricity is purchased from a sustainable source and every effort is made to conserve energy. Cleaning products are natural and environment friendly to avoid pollution and indoor recycling bins are provided for separating waste.

Trees and shrubs were recently planted for wildlife, there is a nature diary for recording events with reference guide books. A vegetable and herb garden helps to reduce food miles. Logs are sustainably sourced and Fairtrade tea, coffee and sugar are provided.
