Pugmill is a recent conversion of a 19th century farm building, one of a group of five individually owned properties accessed by a private road. The tiny hamlet of Harehope Farm is within one of the most beautiful yet little known countryside locations in Northumberland and a designated conservation area.

The central location within Northumberland is ideal for visiting the many castles, gardens and magnificent beaches the area has to offer. The Heritage Coast and the wide open spaces of the Northumberland National Park are within easy reach on quiet country roads.

There is a traditional country pub in nearby Eglingham village serving good locally sourced food and the market towns of Alnwick and Wooler are ten to fifteen minutes away.
